• It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of illustrated covers. So when Michelle approached me to illustrate a Holiday themed Rom-Com, I knew it would be a good fit. After understanding the characters and what they looked like, how the story was going to play out, and the feeling it was going to evoke - the job was easy. This cover was brought to life through multiple mediums and fun creative conversations with the author until it felt spot on.

  • When I first started working with Michelle, we had a long conversation about how she wanted to promote her books to get it into the hands of more readers. While mockups can be a fun way to promote your books, they don’t always look as authentic as a unique looking photo or flatlay.

I love creating images that not only look great, but also make people feel like they're being transported somewhere warm and fuzzy.

In this case, I wanted to create a series of images that would be perfect for Instagram stories.

The goal was to create images that would make viewers feel like they immediately had to add that book to their TBR.

  • Pinterest is a great tool for getting your content seen. While Instagram allows you to push content for 24 hours, and Tiktok pushes content for 72 hours, Pinterest can push your content for up to 4 months! Using the aesthetic photos taken, repurposing videos, and creating book aesthetic boards, we scheduled over a month’s worth of content to help get the word out and grow recognition within the book community about her series.
